We have a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant who is looking to grow their career in community pharmacy. You will be supported with ongoing development opportunities, including training and mentoring from our supportive Dedicated to Care team.
About the role:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for our customers. As our Pharmacy Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they enter the pharmacy. You will proactively engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported and confident in their health journey.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support retail sales.
- Provide advice to customers within your training, with support from pharmacists and senior team members.
- Contribute to achieving store KPIs through professional, caring and supportive customer engagement and service.
- Promote pharmacy services and loyalty programs to support customer wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of merchandising and store presentation.
- Support daily operations, including stock handling and general housekeeping.
- Learn and use our pharmacy systems with training and support.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
About you:
- You bring a minimum of 2 years previous Retail or Pharmacy experience.
- Demonstrated customer service experience, supporting business KPIs, in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience in stock management and/or merchandising would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
- Confident in using POS systems, cash handling, and delivering tailored product recommendations and solutions to customers.
- Reliable, eager to learn and passionate about healthcare.
- Are an optimistic individual who wants to share that positivity with their team and customers.
