We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Pharmacist to join our TerryWhite Chemmart network in Far North Queensland, supporting our pharmacies across Woree, North Cairns, Edmonton and Atherton.
This unique opportunity offers 38 hours per week for a minimum of six months, with the potential to develop into a longer-term opportunity. You’ll work across multiple community pharmacies, providing valuable support where it’s needed most while experiencing different teams, customers and pharmacy environments.
Based around Cairns and the surrounding region, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Tropical North Queensland while building your career. Your work will also take you to the Atherton Tablelands, a region known for its rainforests, waterfalls, crater lakes, hiking trails and local produce.
As part of TerryWhite Chemmart, you’ll be connected to a national community pharmacy network of more than 600 pharmacies, with a shared focus on improving health outcomes through expert advice, health leadership and service innovation in local communities.
About the Role
As a skilled and motivated Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include accurate dispensing, providing expert health advice, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will actively participate in Care Clinic services, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the pharmacy.
- Have current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
- You must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Vaccination trained and Minfos experienced.
