The Role:

This is a full-time role offering 38 hours per week.

As a Dispensary Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, with a strong focus on Dose Administration Aid (DAA) and Webster packing services. You will be responsible for the accurate preparation, packing, and administration of DAA packs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and patient care. In addition, you will support medication dispensing, stock management, and administrative tasks while working closely with pharmacists to deliver a safe and efficient pharmacy service. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to accuracy will be essential in maintaining TerryWhite Chemmart's standards and supporting positive health outcomes for our patients.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers promptly.
  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
  • Confident with DAA Webster packing processes and procedures
  • Manage inventory, including stock monitoring and ordering as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding prescription processing and wait times.
  • Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician and managing DAA Webster packing processes
  • Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate effectively across various roles
  • Customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
  • Positive, proactive, and resourceful mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Experience in inventory management and a good understanding of pharmacy operations
  • Proficiency in computer systems used for prescription processing and inventory management
  • Certification is not essential, with ongoing support available for professional development
