About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Cairns Central Medical, you will play a key role in supporting our GPs and delivering high‑quality patient care. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with patient triage and treatment
• Preparing and managing treatment rooms
• Administering immunisations and wound care
• Supporting chronic disease management and care plans
• Conducting health assessments and clinical measurements (e.g., ECG, spirometry, audiometry)
• Assisting with minor procedures
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Providing patient education and support

The clinic provides a wide range of services, such as health assessments, immunisations, minor surgery, chronic disease support, and diagnostic testing, giving you the opportunity to work across diverse clinical presentations.
