The Position:
At TerryWhite Chemmart Margate, we’re a passionate team that loves what we do! We take pride in both our store and the care we provide for our community. As a trusted, community-focused pharmacy, TerryWhite Chemmart Margate fills around 375 scripts daily and offers a wide range of health services.
You’ll join our team of permanent pharmacists, dispensary technicians, and general pharmacy staff, taking on the role of Sole Pharmacist when rostered for weekend shifts. As a member of our dispensing team, you’ll contribute to the efficient and timely processing of prescriptions. Our forward dispensing model facilitates engagement and support with our customers.
The Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive Clinical Excellence: As a Pharmacist, you will ensure precise dispensing of medications, maintain high standards of practice; we encourage you to pursue specialised clinics in areas of interest such as Men's Health, Diabetes Management or Endometriosis.
- Enhance Customer Engagement: Implement forward dispensing practices, allowing pharmacists to remain engaged with customers during the dispensing process. Offer expert advice on prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and health concerns through our Care Clinics, ensuring personalised service and fostering stronger patient relationships.
- Embrace Continuous Learning: Access industry-leading MasterClass sessions to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Champion Safety: Adhere to all TerryWhite Chemmart, QCPP, and relevant policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Leverage Innovative Tools: Embrace and effectively utilise new technologies, such as Minfos, the myTWC app for online bookings and script management, and uphold clear expectations for their integration to streamline operations and improve patient experience.
About You:
- You are passionate about community pharmacy and are looking to share your commitment and service offerings, particularly in clinical care.
- Keen to take on the opportunity of Pharmacist in Charge shifts on the weekend or evening as needed.
- You love to be recognised with continuous appreciation from our patients in the form of thank-you treats.

To be considered for this role you must have a current General Registration as a Pharmacist (without conditions or undertakings) with APRHA.
