Are you our next People and Culture Coordinator? We are a family-owned Franchise Group within TerryWhite Chemmart where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career through human resource operational support to a group of 8 TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies across the Sunshine Coast.

About the role

The People and Culture Coordinator is responsible for managing all employee lifecycle activities, providing tools and resources to support the culture, behaviour and values of all TerryWhite Chemmart employees furthering our objective to be an employer of choice and the number one place employees chose to work.  

This is a diverse and varied role, providing a great opportunity to advance your skills and nurture your true generalist nature supporting 8 TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies and over 120 employees. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

  • Manage the employee onboarding process, including preparing new employee documentation, completing employment checks, conducting induction sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition to the group.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and increase employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Administer employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition from the group.
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for employees, including training sessions and career advancement programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Complete HR reporting and administration support to the Operations Manager as required. 

Requirements and Skills

  • Previous experience in a HR administration or coordinator role.
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding processes.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about what you do.
