The pharmacy uses Minfos for both POS and dispensing, supporting efficient day-to-day operations. The Role
As a Dispensary Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and supporting various administrative tasks. Your role will involve close collaboration with pharmacists to ensure effective prescription preparation, stock management, and superior customer service. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be key in maintaining TerryWhite Chemmart's standards.
This opportunity is available full-time or part-time, with a minimum four-day week, working a two-week rotating roster:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday
Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with over-the-counter medicines, preparing prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision, supporting stock and merchandising, promoting pharmacy services, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.
We are looking for a team player who can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy pharmacy environment. Previous Sleep Apnoea training or experience will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers promptly.
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Manage inventory, including stock monitoring and ordering as needed.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding prescription processing and wait times.
- Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional pharmacy environment
About You
You will:
- Have previous community pharmacy experience as a Dispensary Technician.

Hold a current S2/S3 Medicines qualification.
- Have an eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑focused mindset.
- Enjoy helping customers and supporting your colleagues.
