About the Role
This is a full-time leadership opportunity offering 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As the Retail Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of the retail side of the pharmacy, managing a high-performing team within a busy and fast-paced environment.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead by example on the shop floor, actively engaging with customers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for driving retail sales and profitability, overseeing stock management and inventory control, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture while supporting the achievement of retail and operational objectives
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team through hands-on leadership

Deliver exceptional customer service and support the team on the shop floor

Oversee daily store operations, merchandising, catalogue execution, and presentation standards

Manage performance, training, and ongoing development.

Maintain retail compliance and ensure the team is informed on current products and promotions.

Manage stock control, inventory processes, and retail performance targets

Resolve customer enquiries professionally and maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming store environment

Drive sales growth while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.

About You
You will bring:

Previous retail leadership or management experience in community pharmacy
-
Strong customer service skills and a commitment to positive customer experiences
-
Experience with performance management, and team development
-
Sound inventory, stock control, merchandising, and store presentation experience
-
An understanding of retail KPIs, sales performance, and profitability.

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience using Minfos POS.
