Positions are available on a Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time basis.

About the Roles

Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you are often the first point of contact for our customers. You play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service and healthcare support
• Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
• Processing sales through the point-of-sale system
• Supporting health and promotional campaigns
• Stock control, receiving and replenishment
• Merchandising and maintaining attractive pharmacy displays
• Assisting with catalogues, promotional activity and retail initiatives
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming store environment
• Working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians and fellow team members
• Supporting customers with TerryWhite Chemmart health services and loyalty programs

Dispensary Technician

As a Dispensary Technician, you will work closely with Pharmacists to provide safe, efficient and accurate dispensing services while delivering exceptional customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with prescription preparation and dispensing processes
• Accurate data entry and processing of prescriptions
• Managing customer prescription enquiries
• Assisting with medication ordering and inventory management
• Maintaining dispensary records and compliance standards
• Supporting pharmacists with workflow management
• Managing prescription filing and administrative tasks
• Assisting with staged supply, medication packing and patient services where applicable
• Ensuring confidentiality and privacy obligations are maintained at all times
• Contributing to a safe, efficient and customer-focused dispensary environment.

What We're Looking For

Pharmacy Assistants

• Previous pharmacy, retail or customer service experience highly regarded
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, friendly and professional attitude
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Passion for helping customers achieve better health outcomes

Dispensary Technicians

• Previous dispensary experience preferred
• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or willingness to obtain) highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of dispensing software systems advantageous
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining compliance and quality standards

Availability Requirements

We are seeking team members who can provide flexibility across our pharmacy trading hours, including:

• Weekdays
• Weekends
• Late-night trading where applicable
• Public holidays

A flexible availability profile will be highly regarded.
