What to Expect in Your Role:
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for our customers. As our Pharmacy Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they enter the pharmacy. You will proactively engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported and confident in their health journey.
As a Dispensary Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and supporting various administrative tasks. Your role will involve close collaboration with pharmacists to ensure effective prescription preparation, stock management, and superior customer service. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be key in maintaining TerryWhite Chemmart's standards.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support retail sales.
- Provide advice to customers within your training, with support from pharmacists and senior team members.
- Contribute to achieving store KPIs through professional, caring and supportive customer engagement and service.
- Promote pharmacy services and loyalty programs to support customer wellbeing.
- Support daily operations, including stock handling and general housekeeping.
- Learn and use our pharmacy systems with training and support.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
About You:

- Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated administrative tasks
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate effectively across various roles
- Customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Positive, proactive, and resourceful mindset
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Experience in inventory management and a good understanding of pharmacy operations
- Proficiency in computer systems used for prescription processing and inventory management
