About the Great Opportunity as our Stock Controller
Our Stock Controllers play an integral role in the management of inventory and supply chain operations for our busy pharmacy, including executing the promotional displays and completing relevant administration tasks such as generating and interpreting performance reports to ensure the pharmacy remains well-stocked. Our Stock Controller is also need to support in delivering exceptional customer service, making recommendations and providing advice for over-the-counter products, giving general assistance to the team and processing sales.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate stock movement, monitoring stock and ordering as required in liaison with the Manager
- Be an expert of the stock control system
- Support invoice management processes
- Regularly generate, review and interpret stock performance reports
- Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales
- Assist customers with over‑the‑counter medicines where appropriate
- Support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness
- Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently
- Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment

Who we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded, but not essential. What matters most is finding someone who’s a great fit for our team and excited to contribute.
You’ll ideally bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role (highly regarded)
- Prior retail experience, delivering exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in healthcare
- Confidence using computer systems, including generating and interpreting reports
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑focused attitude
- A customer‑centred approach and enjoyment in supporting colleagues
This is a Full-Time role (Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week) and has been created to cover parental leave and is offered as a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
