As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be a familiar and trusted face in our close‑knit Sarina community, providing genuine, heartfelt customer service, confidently recommending products, and supporting the health and wellbeing of local families every day. Our pharmacy, TerryWhite Chemmart Sarina, is proudly located on the corner of Broad Street and Brewers Road and cares genuinely for the Sarina community. Trading seven days a week, we’re known for our welcoming approach, expert advice offering a variety of services, and team spirit, where together we deliver reliable care and strive every day to be a better health partner for our town.
A little more about the Pharmacy Assistant position:
Our Pharmacy Assistants are often the first point of contact for customers and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional pharmacy experience. In this role, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales
- Assist customers with over‑the‑counter medicines where appropriate
- Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation
- Support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness
- Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently
- Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment

Previous pharmacy experience is desirable, but not essential. What matters most to us is the right fit. You will:
- Have previous retail experience and a genuine interest in healthcare (prior pharmacy experience is highly regarded, but not essential)
- Be eager to learn and develop your skills
- Have strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑focused mindset
- Enjoy helping customers, delivering the highest quality of care, and supporting your colleagues
This is a permanent, full-time position. Hours will be rostered in accordance with the Pharmacy Industry Award and the pharmacy’s trading hours, including occasional weekend work.
