About the Pharmacist Intern Opportunity
As an Intern Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of pharmacy practice, including patient counselling, medication dispensing, and clinical services. You will work under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, while also participating in educational activities to enhance your professional development. Dedicated to caring for all customers and their health concerns, you will actively support and participate in Care Clinic services. You will also ensure TerryWhite Chemmart’s standards and procedures, as well as legislative and professional requirements, are implemented and maintained. Holding an AHPRA provisional registration and enrolled in an Intern Training Program, you will show initiative to direct your learning and contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy team.
To be successful in this position:
- You must have a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- You must hold a current Provisional Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
- You have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- You enjoy working as part of a dynamic team with a broad range of roles and responsibilities
- You are eager to grow, learn and enjoy using a range of digital systems
- Have a strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
